Netflix has unveiled a new trailer for Wednesday that introduces yet another member of the Addams Family, Uncle Fester, played by none other than Fred Armisen (Los Espookys)!
The trailer also gives us a glimpse of Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday in the 1990s Addams Family movies. Ricci is playing a brand new character, Ms. Thornhill, who appears to work at Nevermore Academy where Wednesday is a student.
Jenna Ortega (Scream) steps into Wednesday’s gloomy shoes for the live-action series, which is directed by Tim Burton. Luis Guzmán is playing Gomez opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia. The series will chart “Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago—all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships.”
Alfred Gough and Miles Millar serve as writers and showrunners on Wednesday, which debuts on Netflix on November 23rd, 2022. Snap your fingers twice and check out the trailer below.
