A brand new poster has been unleashed for The VelociPastor and it embodies the same vintage and satirical edge as the trailer, which you can check out below. You won’t believe your eyes. The combination of religion and the prehistoric is mind-boggling and shamelessly appealing, thanks to the confidence behind the camera. It’s a joke, but a great Grindhouse one.
The film comes from writer-director Brendan Steere and is based on a faux trailer made by Steere himself. The synopsis is as barmy as you’d expect and is as follows:
After losing his parents, a priest travels to China, where he inherits a mysterious ability that allows him to turn into a dinosaur. At first horrified by this new power, a hooker convinces him to use it to fight crime. And ninjas.
The VelociPastor stars Gregory James Cohan, Alyssa Kempinski, Daniel Steere, Yang Jiechang, Jesse Turits, Fernando Pacheco de Castro and Aurelio Voltaire. The film is slated for release in 2018 and we can’t wait.
