The fifth and final season of Syfy’s Van Helsing premieres on April 16th—and the trailer promises the mother of all endings.
The series is set in a world that has been taken over by vampires following a volcanic explosion that blocked out the sun. Vanessa Van Helsing (Kelly Overton) is the last hope for survival, possessing a unique blood composition that makes her not only immune to vampires, but also able to turn vampires human. With this secret weapon, Vanessa becomes a prime target for the vampires. Her objective: Save humanity—and find her daughter.
In the final season, Vanessa, Violet (Keeya King), and Jack (Nicole Muñoz) risk everything to finally bring an end to the Dark One once and for all. The Van Helsings must figure out ways to escape and evade the various obstacles in their path that would prevent them from their mission, leading to an epic final showdown between them and the Dark One.
