It was only the second genre release of the year, and that’s quite a daunting feat.
However, Joel Rubin’s horror-comedy slasher did quite well at the box-office. Although not a huge success, Heart Eyes achieved something almost unheard of for a genre film.
In it’s second week, coinciding with Valentine’s Day 2025, Heart Eyes rose an impressive 21% from its opening weekend. For a horror property to rise at all in its second weekend is a remarkable achievement, and one all involved in the film should be proud of.
Evidently, Sony Pictures are happy with Heart Eyes’ final gross, as the film has been released to Pay-Per-View services, just a month after premiering.
Yes, you can now see all the gory goodness of Heart Eyes from the comfort of your own home!
So, if you didn’t catch this one in theatres, perhaps wanting to avoid the Valentines crowds, now is your chance.
Heart Eyes is available to rent now from all good pay-per-view streaming services.
The movie is expected to release to physical home media in April.
Have a bloody good time, folks.
