An unsettling and strange first trailer has been released for Claire Denis’ sci-fi-horror High Life and it explores what it means to be human in the most desperate of circumstances. Starring Juliette Binoche, Robert Pattinson and Mia Goth, the film focuses on a father and his daughter as they grow up in isolation.
High Life has been described as a deep space survival film, and it certainly looks like there’s a strand of terror running through its science-fiction-laced veins. As it’s from A24 – who has such a strong set of films to its name, including The Witch and last year’s horror hit Hereditary – we’re very intrigued to see what Claire Denis can offer us with this one.
High Life has a release date slated for 12th April 2019 in the USA, so look out for it soon.
