Blumhouse’s supernatural horror Truth or Dare was original scheduled to be released on 27th April, but the release date has now been changed to a more fitting Friday 13th April. As Happy Death Day reigned supreme with a similar release on Friday 13th October last year, it’s no surprise to see Truth or Dare’s release moved a little close to help boost its success at the box office.
Jason Blum is producing the flick that has been co-written by Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs. This is Jacobs’ first writing credit, but Roach has written episodes of Boston Legal, The Client List, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments and many more, so he’s no stranger to crafting thrilling and exciting stories for the screen.
Synopsis:
A college student is haunted by a supernatural presence after being tricked into playing a game of ‘Truth or Dare’.
Truth or Dare additionally stars Teen Wolf’s Tyler Posey, The Flash’s Violett Beane, Nolan Gerard Funk, Hayden Szeto, Sophia Taylor Ali and Aurora Perrineau.
Make sure to play Truth or Dare when it is released on Friday 13th April 2018.
