A remake of South Korean zombie hit Train to Busan is in the works over at New Line Cinema, and the film has received a tentative title. Deadline notes that it“could be” called Last Train to New York.
Timo Tjahjanto (May the Devil Take You, V/H/S/94) is directing the remake of Sang-Ho Yeon’s terrifying Train to Busan, which saw passengers struggling to survive a train ride from Seoul to Busan in the midst of a zombie outbreak. Gary Dauberman (It, Annabelle Comes Home) is adapting the screenplay and producing the film alongside Atomic Monster’s Michael Clear and Gaumont’s Nicolas Atlan and Terry Kalagian. Executive producers include Judson Scott, Sidonie Dumas, Christophe Riandee, and Johanna Byer.
