Nickelodeon are reviving classic ‘90s horror series Are You Afraid of the Dark? for a three-part limited series this October, and the trailer is full of good scares for a younger audience.
The story centres around the Midnight Society, a group of kids who spin a frightening tale about the Carnival of Doom, only for their stories to take on a life of their own. Sam Ashe Arnold, Tamara Smart, Miya Cech, Jeremy Taylor, and Lyliana Wray star, with Rafael Casal playing the Carnival’s ringmaster, Mr. Tophat.
Dean Israelite directed the series, which was written by BenDavid Grabinski. The three episodes will be released on October 11th, 18th, and 25th respectively, just in time for Halloween. Roll up, roll up, and watch the new trailer below.
