Before horror games became mainly like they are today, there was one that went mainstream, and it was Alone in the Dark. The 1992 original had 3D visuals and inventory management, which was revolutionary then. With updated visuals, Pieces Interactive has now produced a relaunch in the shape of a new Alone in the Dark game.

In this game, you can assume the roles of Edward Carnby, a private investigator, and Emily Hartwood, his client. Together, they make the unusual journey to Derceto Manor, a remote estate in 1920s Louisiana, where they look for Jeremy, Emily’s missing uncle.
