Tommy Wirkola Wants to Finish his Dead Snow Trilogy

Posted on: August 24th, 2017

Dead Snow and Dead Snow: Red vs Dead are a couple of the goriest and funniest horror comedies of the last decade and we’ve dying to learn some news about another sequel. In an interview with EW, director Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow 1-2, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters) confirmed that he wants to make a Dead Snow 3. He said:

“Just so you know, if you’re a fan of the Dead Snows, we’re hoping to make a third one in a few years. We’ve got to finish the trilogy, so I’m very excited about that. We’ve got to finish what we started, all of us! We have some ideas. I think it’s natural to maybe put some of the story in South America, where a lot of the Nazis fled, of course. We’ve got to top what we’ve done before. We have to bring back Hitler as well. Zombie-Hitler.”

Yes, yes, a million times yes. It’s been 3 years since Red vs. Dead was released in 2014 and, if anything, now is the perfect time to see some undead Nazis getting massacred once again.

Tommy Wirkola is currently promoting his latest feature What Happened to Monday, a sci-fi thriller that is set in a world where families are limited to only one child due to overpopulation. You can check the film out now on Netflix.
