Tis The Season for a Krampus: The Reckoning Trailer

Posted on: October 8th, 2015

Krampus Still 2There are less than 80 sleeps until your favourite time of year; Christmas! With the merry period drawing ever closer you should expect some horror-twists to ruin the fun festivities, because Christmas is not just a time for Santa Claus, it’s a time for the Krampus!

There are an array of Krampus-themed horror films on t he horizon and one of those is Krampus: The Reckoning and you can check out the trailer below. It ticks all the expected boxes, describing the Krampus as a mythological creature out to punish the wicked at Christmastime. The Krampus itself looks terrifying and he’s certainly dishing out a bloody reckoning. The film comes from Robert Conway, director of The Encounter, which is another out-of-this-world, fantastical horror film.

Zoe is a strange little girl, with a not so imaginary friend the Krampus who is the dark companion of kindly old St. Nicholas. The Krampus has been unleashed upon a small town and the legendary demon will seek out all the naughty people to punish them at Christmas time. No one is safe as the Krampus hunts them down, tortures them and then drags their helpless souls to the depths of hell.

He knows when you’ve been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake. Krampus: The Reckoning will be released on 3rd November 2015 in the USA.
