We recently told you that William Friedkin was heading back to his documentary roots to work on The Devil and Father Amorth. The film focuses on the Vatican’s exorcist Father Amorth as he carries out a real exorcism. That’s right, this isn’t fiction and Friedkin is camera-equipped and ready to roll, so we can witness the events for ourselves.
The first trailer has been revealed for the film and it looks as chilling as we expected. It’s full of dramatic dialogue and real opinions on Amorth’s work, plus we’ve got Friedkin with us on the devilish journey. Check it out below.
The Devil and Father Amorth will be released in cinemas on 20th April, and will be released digitally soon after.
