Third Time’s The Charm if Joaquin Phoenix Collaborates with M. Night Shyamalan

Posted on: August 27th, 2015

It is being reported that Joaquin Phoenix is in talks to collaborate with director M. Night Shyamalan on his next horror endeavour. Phoenix has previously featured in Signs – great – and The Village – not-so-great. The actor has had a run of great films lately; The Master, Her and Inherent Vice, but it will be great to see him return to the world of horror.

Shyamalan has just wrapped his latest film The Visit, which follows a couple of kids whose visit to their grandparents’ house goes a bit too Hansel and Gretel. Shyamalan is always a director to watch and whether you like his films or not, you have to admit he’s dedicated to the crazy stories he conjures.

There is no word on any plot details yet, but the budget is said to be a small one. Additionally, Jason Blum is in talks to produce but there is no studio set, yet. Keep your eyes peeled for more as it comes.
