There’s Something Out There in the Trailer for The Endless

Posted on: May 3rd, 2018

A brand new UK trailer has been unleashed for the visually stunning The Endless, which sees two brothers return to the cult they previously escaped from to see if their bizarre rituals and sinister secrets were grounded in truth. What they discover is even more mind-bending than they could have imagined.

Synopsis:
When brothers Justin (Benson) and Aaron (Moorhead), former members of a “crazy UFO death cult”, receive a mysterious videotape in the mail, they find an eerie calling card from their past inviting them back to attend an event called “The Ascension”.

Despite Justin´s initial apprehension, the two agree to return for one day. At first, their old cult friends seem warm and welcoming, but things soon begin to turn strange and the two brothers find themselves drawn ever more into a vortex of bizarre rituals, strange messages, un-seeable forces and sinister supernatural secrets that threaten to tear apart the very fabric of reality.

I love this trailer. It’s eerie and unique, beautifully exploring a world that is home to forces beyond our human comprehension. It’s bursting with mystery and intrigue, nicely blending narratives concerning the danger of cults and a strand of pure sci-fi.

From acclaimed filmmakers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution, Spring), The Endless stars Callie Hernandex, Emily Montague, James Jordan and Tate Ellington. The Endless will be released in the UK on Digital HD on 29th June, before being released on DVD and Blu-Ray on 2nd July 2018. All courtesy of Arrow Films and Video.
