Adam Robitel and Gavin Heffernan—the duo behind The Taking of Deborah Logan and Escape Room—are developing a new horror series for Netflix!
Called The Craving, the series centres around a female sheriff in a Colorado ski town besieged by an unprecedented new threat and will explore the real-world horrors of addiction through a genre lens. Darren Aronofsky and Elizabeth Gesas will executive produce for Protozoa Pictures.
Deadline reports that Robitel and Heffernan wrote the pilot episode of The Craving, which Robitel will direct. Robitel will also likely direct other episodes if the project is picked up. This marks the duo’s first move into television.
