We’re just one month away from their return, so let’s find out what’s in store whilst viewing The Strangers: Chapter 2.
Solely based on the final trailer, we know Chapter 2 is going to be gory, as the Man in the Mask is seen getting mighty friendly with an axe… But just how bloody will things get?
Well, according to the newly released official rating… very.
The MPA has given Renny Harlin’s The Strangers: Chapter 2 an “R” rating for:
“Bloody violence, and language.”
Now, that sounds like a good time!
From the aforementioned trailer, we know the sequel will pick up directly after the events of Chapter 1. A-la Halloween II, some of the action will take place in a hospital, exploring the paranoia and PTSD following a near-death experience.
The Strangers Chapter 2 will star returning cast members Madelaine Petsch, Gabriel Basso, and Ema Horvath.
A third chapter is also complete, but as of this writing, doesn’t have a release date.
The sinister trio will return to screens on September 26th, and you can re-visit the final trailer below:
