The Reef writer-director Andrew Traucki returns 12 years later for the sequel, The Reef: Stalked—and the poster promises that “it will find you.”
What is it? Why, a big shark of course!
Teressa Liane (The Vampire Diaries), Ann Truong (Cowboy Bebop), Kate Lister (Clickbait), Saskia Archer, and Tim Ross star in The Reef: Stalked. Here’s the official synopsis:
“Nic, in an effort to heal after witnessing her sister’s horrific murder, travels to a tropical resort with her friends for a kayaking and diving adventure. Only hours into their expedition, the women are stalked and then attacked by a great white shark. To survive they will need to band together and Nic will have to overcome her post-traumatic stress, face her fears and slay the monster.”
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, The Reef: Stalked swims onto Shudder and select theatres on July 29th. Or, catch it on VOD on the same day. Just watch out for the teeth.
