Naughty Dog’s highly anticipated sequel to 2013’s The Last of Us is coming early next year! In a new teaser trailer for the post-apocalyptic survival horror game, Sony revealed that The Last of Us Part II will infect the PS4 on February 21st, 2020.
In the trailer, we see Ellie setting out on a dangerous revenge mission, forcing her to confront enemies even more terrifying than the clickers and bloaters. She also encounters an older, wearier Joel, who it seems she hasn’t seen in a long time.
Gamers will have a few different editions of the game to choose from. For the collectors among you, the Special Edition comes with a custom SteelBook case and various digital content. The Collector’s Edition also includes the SteelBook and digital content, along with a 12” Ellie statue, life-sized replica of her bracelet, 48-page mini art book from Dark House, an enamel pin set, lithograph art print, and five stickers. The Ellie Edition, meanwhile, includes all this and more—namely, a replica of Ellie’s backpack, an embroidered patch, and a 7” vinyl record featuring music from the original soundtrack.
If you’re not fussed about a physical copy, you can also opt for the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes digital content and a digital copy of the Standard Edition.
