It’s been a long month for Walking Dead fans as we have eagerly awaited to hear the fate of the much-loved Glenn. Finally, on Sunday, our prayers were answered as it was revealed that he is, in fact, alive. Hooray!
The episode took us back to the scene at the dumpster where Glenn was believed – by some – to have met his maker. However, as many people theorised, Glenn managed to escape the clutches of the walkers and crawl underneath the dumpster to ensure his survival. I don’t think many of us really believed he was dead, even with the removal of Steven Yuen’s name from the show’s opening credits. Some of us even crawled under bins to prove that this could have happened. You crazy lot.
So that’s that, then. We can all go back to sleeping peacefully at night in the comfort that Glenn is alive and well. For now, anyway. With Jeffrey Dean Morgan being cast as the villain Negan, who knows what’s going to happen? In the 100th issue of the comic Negan executes Glenn, so maybe we shouldn’t get too used to seeing him alive and well…
