Posted on: January 23rd, 2019

The Expanse was cancelled by Syfy after its third season in 2018, but Amazon has come to the show’s rescue and renewed it for a fourth season. Rejoice! It’s been a long time coming.

You can watch seasons 1 and 2 of the show now, so do catch up if you enjoy a bit of sci-fi-action. The third season will arrive on 8th February and the brand new fourth season is expected to land later this year.

The Expanse is based on the series of books written by Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. The series follows a colony living on an asteroid belt where a conspiracy is uncovered by the first officer of an interplanetary ice freighter and a UN executive.

The Expanse stars Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Dominique Tipper, Cas Anvar, Wes Chatham, Frankie Adams and Thomas Jane.
