Ryan and Andy Tohill (The Dig) have been tapped to direct Legendary’s reboot of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe), who is serving as a producer on the film, has described the directors’ vision as “violent, exciting, and depraved,” noting that it will stay with viewers forever. This will be the ninth instalment in the franchise and the latest since 2017’s Leatherface.
Chris Thomas Devlin wrote the film, which is reportedly connected to Hooper’s original classic and intended to kick off a new franchise.
