From Gun Interactive, Texas Chain Saw Massacre: The Game seeks to re-invent the slasher film franchise for the world of survival-horror gaming. In the same vein as the company’s previous offering Friday the 13th: The Game, it offers players the chance to escape the dreaded Sawyer family as they hunt you down one-by-one.
Interest in the game has been high, with hundreds vying for a place during the game’s technical run earlier this month. Initial feedback from said event was positive in terms of graphics and overall gameplay, but the one complaint consistently seemed to be that the iconic villains moved too slow, presenting no real sport to either player.
It is hoped that Gun Interactive takes this feedback aboard to create the ultimate survival-slasher game. After getting a look at the stunning graphics during the technical run, fans are eager to see what other locations and characters the full game will unlock.
