Christmas and horror go hand-in-hand and this trailer for Red Christmas proves it. It’s a simple trailer, but it is immediately eerie through its use of slow-motion and the haunting soundtrack in the background. The intensity builds until an unknown horror makes itself known and that’s when the terror kicks in.
The trailer is shrouded in mystery and becomes a great tease, because it gives away nothing about the story. If you want to know the intricate details of the story then you can read the synopsis below, but we warn you that it gives away important plot points, so avoid it if you don’t want to know what’s going on.
Synopsis:
A troubled matriarch must defend her family when a mysterious stranger turns up at her secluded country mansion on Christmas day. A day of celebration becomes a night of terror, as the stranger reveals a secret from the family’s past, and threatens to destroy their future.
