“What exactly did you come here for…?”
Is there anything scarier than being alone on a stormy night? Well, how about if someone knocks on your door…?
In an unbelievably tense and intriguing trailer, Australian flick You’ll Never Find Me takes this basic premise and weaves a mysterious and surreal nightmare.
In the film, described as “chamber horror:”
“An isolated man living in the back of a desolate caravan park is visited by a desperate young woman seeking shelter from a violent storm. As the savage storm worsens, these solitary souls begin to feel threatened- but who should really be afraid?”
Sounds intriguing, and the trailer only serves to amplify that curiosity. With a sinister and very tense vibe between our two mysterious leads from the outset, we can’t help but think one of them is hiding something… But what?
Evoking the dark and stormy atmosphere popular in the horror movies of old, the clip gives us just enough peeks into the unfolding events to make us want more.
Starring Jordan Cowan and Brendan Rock, You’ll Never Find Me promises to be an engaging character piece from directors Indianna Bell and Josiah Allen. With the trailer evoking themes of claustrophobia and paranoia, hopefully, this one will sit amongst the best genre work that Australia has to offer.
You’ll Never Find Me will release to Shudder on March 22, and you can watch the nail-biting trailer below:
