Visiting your grandparent’s should be something all children look forward to. You should be showered with presents, baked goods and tea. However, in typical M. Night Shyamalan fashion, visiting your grandparent’s becomes a thing to fear and dread.
In the new clip the children are told that bed time is at 9.30, but are rudely awoken when Grandma is found crazily scraping the walls with her bare hands. How are they meant to get any sleep with that going on? Additionally, any hope of baked goods is sprayed in their face. Say it, don’t spray it Grandma.
Synopsis:
Shyamalan returns to his roots with the terrifying story of a brother and sister who are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pennsylvania farm for a weeklong trip. Once the children discover that the elderly couple is involved in something deeply disturbing, they see their chances of getting back home are growing smaller every day.
