Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) is directing a sequel to 2018’s The Nun, and Taissa Farmiga is officially returning as Sister Irene!
Bonnie Aarons is also getting back in the habit as the demonic nun known as Valak. It was recently announced that Storm Reid (The Invisible Man) will lead the cast this time around, though details about her role have yet to be announced.
The Nun 2 is set in “1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit THE NUN follows SISTER IRENE as she once again comes face to face with the demonic force VALAK – THE DEMON NUN.”
Evil returns to theatres when The Nun 2 releases on September 8th, 2023.
