A feminist horror film, Swallow revolves around a pregnant housewife (Haley Bennett) who has an uncontrollable desire to consume inedible—and sometimes dangerous—objects. With her husband (Austin Stowell) and his family exerting more and more control over her life, she must confront the dark secret that’s driving her compulsion.
