Described as part survival epic, part psychological horror, and part coming-of-age drama, Showtime’s smash hit series Yellowjackets has been renewed for a second season.
Following a wildly talented high school girls’ soccer team whose plane crashes deep in the remote northern wilderness, Yellowjackets chronicles the survivors’ descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together 25 years later. Christina Ricci (The Addams Family), Juliette Lewis (From Dusk Till Dawn), Melanie Lynskey (Castle Rock), and Tawny Cypress (The Blacklist) star in the series, which was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, who also co-showrun and executive produce.
