Directed by Terence Krey, who also co-wrote the script with Christine Nyland (An Unquiet Grave), Summoners has conjured up an atmospheric teaser trailer to celebrate the movie’s World Premiere at this month’s Brooklyn Horror Film Festival.
In Summoners: “Jessica Whitman isn’t a witch. Not anymore, at least. She left it behind when she left her hometown almost ten years ago. But when a childhood friend needs her help performing a dark spell, she’ll find herself questioning her sense of right and wrong, and grappling with her late mother’s secrets.”
In addition to writing, Nyland stars in the film alongside McLearn Peterson, Madeline Grey DeFreece, Margaret Reed, Meghan Jones, and Warren. The cast also includes genre favourite Larry Fessenden (Jakob’s Wife).
