Suki Waterhouse (Assassination Nation, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) is set to star in Seance, the feature directorial debut of Simon Barrett.
Barrett previously directed “Tape 49,” the wraparound segment for V/H/S 2. But he’s better known for his writing credits, having penned You’re Next, The Guest, and Blair Witch, to name a few.
Seance centers around the Fairfield Academy, an all-girls boarding school haunted by a vengeful spirit. Waterhouse will play Camille, a young woman who comes to the school after the ultimately death of a student. Adam Wingard will executive produce.
The film is currently in pre-production, and shooting will begin in November.
