A brand new poster and teaser trailer have been unleashed for the upcoming season 2 of Stranger Things and they confirm the release date to be this 27th October; a tiny bit sooner than expected. Not long now!
You can check out the teaser trailer for the hit series here, which warns us that “Some doors can’t be closed”. Despite being set 1 year after Will Myers’ return to Hawkins, it seems that things are about to get even stranger – and exceedingly darker – in season 2.
Synopsis:
It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana, are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down, but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
The new poster for the series is bloody beautiful and effortlessly connotes the ‘80s feeling and tone that the series, as a whole, aims to achieve. So far, so good. The colours perfectly embody a sense of gorgeous foreboding; showing that the series will continue to be terrifying, but visually exquisite once again. It also offers a tease of the monster that is about to be unleashed from the Upside Down, eek.
Check out the teaser (right) and be sure to catch Stranger Things Season 2 from 27th October.
