Some sad news today as our hopes and dreams about a new Hellboy have been dashed. Guillermo del Toro himself took to Twitter on Tuesday to confirm there will 100% not be a Hellboy 3 with him involved and that’s the last he has to say on the matter.
It’s disappointing to know we’ll never see another Hellboy, but it’s not all that surprising. I suppose now we can just live with this truth, learn to accept it and move on with our Hellboy-less lives. Sigh. It is a shame, because we were given fresh hope when del Toro posted a Twitter poll and stated that if it were to receive over 100,000 votes in 24 hours, which it did, he would begin serious talks with Ron Perlman and Mike Mignola.
There answer is: no, thanks. Sorry, readers but that’s it.
