Shudder’s weekly movie premiere line-up continues today with writer/director Jerren Lauder’s (Bug Bites) claustrophobic, powerful and resiliently gory STAY OUT OF THE F**KING ATTIC.
Starring Morgan Alexandria (Forever My Girl), Ryan Francis (Sisters) and Bryce Fernelius (Ruling of the Heart) as a disparate band of ex-cons-turned-movers, the film takes us on their next job where a creepy client, Vern Muller (Michael Flynn, The Outpost), convinces them to finish the job overnight for a generous backhander. As the night progresses and rooms are cleared, they slowly uncover the horrors that exist inside his old Victorian mansion, including booby traps, human experimentation, Nazi monsters and more. Was staying the night worth a bit of extra cash in hand?
As Stay out of the F**king Attic premieres on Shudder today, March 11, we caught up with Lauder and the lead cast to find out what kind of horrors might be lurking in the aforementioned Victorian manor, which sounds like it was already pretty creepy way before they stepped foot inside to film a horror movie…
