OK so he’s not literally putting on a pair of roller skates – not as far as I know, anyway – but director Jerome Sable will be delving into the world of skaters and extreme street stunt performers for his next feature. As with Stage Fright and his ABC’s of Death 2 segment ‘V is for Vacation’, Sable will be collaborating with Nicholas Musurca on a film that has the below synopsis:
A small-town skate crew whose obsession with becoming internet-famous leads them into a trap of unrelenting horror.
There is a wealth of slasher films out there, but the focus of this film certainly sounds refreshing. We can’t think of another slasher flick that has stunt performers at its centre, can you? Sable has already entered the world of slashers with Stage Fright, so let’s see what else he can bring to the table.
The film is currently untitled, but we’ll let you know when it gets a name. I offer the sweet, short and simple: SKATING SLASHING! Or not.
