Hot off their remake of David Cronenberg’s Rabin, which will hit the festival circuit soon, filmmaking twins Jen and Sylvia Soska have signed a first-look deal with Martin Katz’s Prospero Pictures—the production company behind many recent Cronenberg films.
The deal grants Prospero Pictures the exclusive first right to develop and produce film and TV properties from the Soska’s Twisted Twins Productions.
In a statement, Katz praised the filmmakers’ penchant for female-driven horror. The Soska Sisters are best known for their 2012 body horror film American Mary, which starred Katharine Isabelle and Tristan Risk.
