A brand new poster has been unveiled for Polaroid, a film that follows a student who finds a mysterious camera. She soon discovers that the people who have their pictures taken meet their grisly end. Check out minimalist poster below which effortlessly suggests the camera is an object to fear. The “DO NOT PRESS” warning is also very ominous.
Polaroid is based on the short film of the same name and it definitely bears a strong resemblance to The Ring/Ringu with this description, but if you check out the trailer for the short film below, you may be impressed by its effortless building of suspense. If the full-length feature delivers an atmosphere this chilling and a sound design equally as unnerving, Polaroid might be an entertaining and terrifying addition to the genre.
Directed by Lars Klevberg, Polaroid stars Javier Botet, Kathryn Prescott (The Hive), Mitch Pileggi (The X-Files), Grace Zabriskie (The Grudge), Keenan Tracey (Bates Motel), Samantha Logan (The Fosters), Priscilla Quintana, Madelaine Petsch and Tyler Young.
Polaroid will be released on 25th August 2017.
