“SLOTHERHOUSE” MAKES THE CUTE CREATURES BLOOD-HUNGRY ON THE BIG SCREEN THIS SUMMER

Posted on: August 4th, 2023

We’ve had horror movies about killer sharks, alligators, bears… on cocaine… So, why not a movie about a killer sloth? That’s exactly what you’re in for this August when Slotherhouse releases to theatres.

Directed by Matthew Goodhue, from a script penned by Bradley Fowler, Slotherhouse tells of Emily’s quest to be Sorority president, she believes a pet Sloth will give her the lead.

“When Emily adopts an adorable sloth, she realizes the animal can serve as the house’s new mascot and help her win votes, dubbing the animal Alpha. The new pet is a beloved addition to the sorority house until a series of deaths point toward the sloth as the prime murder suspect. The film becomes a survival story of sisters versus sloth as the girls wonder if they can make it out of Sigma Lambda Theta alive (sloths, of course, are not known for being fleet of foot).”

The cast of this rather unique sounding movie includes mostly fresh faces, including Lisa Ambalavanar, Sydney Craven, Olivia Rouyre, Bianca Beckles-Rose, Andrew Horton, Sutter Nolan, Grace Patterson, Milica Vrzić, Annamaria Serda, Rudi Rok, Tiff Stevenson, and Stefan Kapičić.

A new acquisition by Iconic Events, Slotherhouse will be released nationwide on August 30th 2023. A trailer is not currently available, but we certainly can’t wait to get our first look at this bonkers sounding movie.

What we do have is a first-look teaser poster, showcasing some very deadly looking sloth claws.

Rest assured we will report any further updates on Slotherhouse as soon as we have them. Can they make a sloth frightening? We can’t wait to find out.
