The holidays can be hell—especially when the apocalypse is on your doorstep. Writer-director Camille Griffin explores this bleak premise in the darkly comedic horror drama Silent Night, which is set to release on December 3rd.
In the film, “Nell and Simon have invited their closest friends to join their family for Christmas dinner at their idyllic home in the English countryside. As the group comes together, it feels like old times—but behind all of the laughter and merriment, something is not quite right. The world outside is facing impending doom, and no amount of gifts, games, or Prosecco can make mankind’s imminent destruction go away. Surviving the holidays just got a lot more complicated.”
Silent Night stars Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean), Matthew Goode (Stoker), Roman Griffin Davis (Jojo Rabbit), Annabelle Wallis (Malignant), Lily-Rose Depp (Yoga Hosers), Ṣọpé Dìrísù (His House), Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Killing Eve), Lucy Punch (A Series of Unfortunate Events), Rufus Jones (W1A), and Trudie Styler (Filth).
