There’s more drag, horror, filth, and glamour in our future, because Shudder has renewed The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula for a fifth season!
For the uninitiated, Dragula is a reality competition created, written, and produced by the Boulet Brothers, who also host. Every episode, monster drag artists from around the world face off in horror-based makeup, design, and performance challenges with deadly consequences.
The renewal comes ahead of the final two episodes of season four, which has been the most-watched program on Shudder since its premiere. The finale will see the crowning of the next drag supermonster, who will win a $100,000 grand prize.
“We are so thrilled to be celebrating the monumental success of season 4 with our new partners at Shudder,” the Boulets said in a statement. “It has been a roller coaster ride of a season, and we’re still overwhelmed with how engaged and passionate fans and critics have been all season long.
