A mind-boggling trailer for The Untamed has been unleashed courtesy of IndireWire and it shows science fiction, sex, pleasure and monsters coming together in a complex and fascinating 2 minutes that will leave you perplexed.
Synopsis:
A couple in a troubled marriage locate a meteorite, initiating an encounter with a mysterious creature. Their lives are turned upside down by the discovery of the creature, which is a source of both pleasure and destruction.
The lack of explanation and commitment to its bizarre concept looks extremely intriguing, especially for those that like their cinema to be challenging.
From Mexican director Amat Escalante, The Untamed stars Ruth Ramos, Jesus Meza and Kenny Johnston. From the trailer, it looks as though they have their work cut out for them, but they deliver committed and striking performances that heighten the mystery and emphasise the film’s concern with the downright weird. We love it.
The Untamed will be released on 21st July 2017.
