Physical media collectors got quite the treat July 10th and 11th as Scream VI rolled out onto all formats across the world.
Paramount Home Entertainment have really pulled out all the stops with this one, releasing not only the standard Blu-ray and DVD, but also releasing the film in multiple 4K sets.
First up is the standard 4K UHD set, which comes in a standard black case with the theatrical artwork. Next is the 4K steelbook which features the teaser poster as its primary artwork and a plethora of alternate artwork inside. These include the teaser theatrical art, some teaser art of Ghostface’s famous bowie knife stabbing an apple, and a gorgeous panoramic shot of the killer looking out at the New York skyline.
Finally, if you live in the United Kingdom, you get an extra special treat! Media outlet HMV are offering their own exclusive 4K UHD set with a limited edition bright red slip-cover and 6 art cards adorned with miniature versions of the movie’s primary character posters.
Furthermore, with the release of the sixth instalment on home media, a six-movie set has now been released also via Paramount Home Entertainment. This means you can now own the entire franchise together for the first time.
Each edition of Scream VI features the following extra features:
* Commentary by Filmmakers
* Death Comes to the City (featurette)
