Hail to the king! Sam Raimi is finally returning to the world of horror, directing an untitled new horror film for Columbia Pictures.
While Raimi has been involved in numerous horror projects over the past few years, usually as a producer, this will be the first horror film he’s directed since 2009’s Drag Me to Hell. The film is written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason) and is being described as “Misery meets Castaway.”
