Sarah Snook (Jessabelle, Winchester, Succession) will play the lead role in Australian horror-thriller Run Rabbit Run, replacing Elisabeth Moss (The Invisible Man) who had to bow out due to scheduling issues.
Directed by Daina Reid (The Handmaid’s Tale), the film will focus on a fertility doctor whose firm grasp on the cycle of life is put to the test when her young daughter begins exhibiting increasingly strange behaviour. The script was written by novelist Hannah Kent, based on an original idea developed with Carver Films.
Pre-production on Run Rabbit Run begins this month. Filming will take place in Victoria and South Australia.
