After a two year shoot, the documentary Hollywood Dreams & Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story has wrapped filming and is in post-production.
According to Deadline, the documentary “features a center piece interview with American actor Englund, as well as interviews with Lance Henriksen, Eli Roth, Tony Todd, Bill Moseley, Lin Shaye, Heather Langenkamp, Nancy Booth (Englund’s wife of many years) and others.” Gary Smart (Pennywise: The Story of IT) directed the doc, which he co-wrote with Neil Morris.
Englund is, of course, best known for his portrayal of Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare on Elm Street films. He has also appeared in horror films like Dead & Buried, Hatchet, and The Phantom of the Opera, and can soon be seen in the long-awaited fourth season of Stranger Things, playing the murderer Victor Creel.
