Emmy-winning actor Ray Liotta has died. He was 67.
Horror fans may know Liotta best for his portrayal of Paul Krendler in Ridley Scott’s 2001 film Hannibal, where he ate a rather unusual meal at Dr. Lecter’s dinner table. He was also set to star in the upcoming horror movie The Substance from Revenge director Coralie Fargeat.
Of course, Liotta is perhaps best remembered for his breakout role in Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas. He also starred in films like Unlawful Entry, Cop Land, and Identity, among many others, and was recently seen in The Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark.
Liotta was in the Dominican Republic filming the movie Dangerous Waters when he passed away in his sleep. He will be missed.
