The V/H/S franchise is back this month with V/H/S/99 (read our review here), rewinding to the end of the last millennium for more found footage frights. To ring in the arrival of the new instalment, Shudder has released an official trailer for the film that combines 90s nostalgia with a nasty, violent streak.
Maggie Levin (Into the Dark: My Valentine), Johannes Roberts (The Strangers: Prey at Night), Flying Lotus (Kuso), Tyler MacIntyre (Tragedy Girls), and Vanessa and Joeseph Winter (Deadstream) directed segments of V/H/S/99, which harkens back to the final punk-rock analogue days of VHS while taking one giant leap forward into the hellish new millennium. Expect demons, a demented game show, and more this time around.
Producers on V/H/S/99 include Josh Goldbloom, Brad Miska, David Bruckner, James Harris, and Radio Silence (Chad Villella, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, and Tyler Gillett). Michael Schreiber and Adam Boostin executive produced.
