Drag artist Alaska Thunderfuck steps into the shoes of Carrie in the key art for Queer for Fear, Shudder’s upcoming original docuseries charting the history of LGBTQ+ horror.
Executive produced by Bryan Fuller (Hannibal) and Steak House (Launchpad), Queer for Fear is a four-part series that features interviews with Jennifer Tilly (Child’s Play franchise), Karyn Kusama (Jennifer’s Hody), Oz Perkins (Gretel & Hansel), series consultant Renée “Nay” Bever (Attack of the Queerwolf podcast), and more. The series will re-examine genre stories through a queer lens, seeing them not as violent, murderous narratives, but as tales of survival that resonate thematically with queer audiences everywhere.
Queer for Fear is set to debut on Shudder this autumn.
