We hope you’re not getting fed up with all the new footage and images for Andy Muschietti’s It, because we’re certainly not! September 8th cannot come quick enough and all the new teases are just making us increasingly excited.
In the new TV spot below, we hear Big Bill talking about how kids should be “protected and cared for”, but in the strange town of Derry, that’s far from the case. Typically adopting the guise of a creepy clown called Pennywise, It emerges from the depths of Derry’s sewers every 27 years and feasts on the bodies of the town’s children. When his brother is taken by It, Bill embarks on a mission to defeat It for good with the help of the rest of the Loser’s Club.
It comes from director Andy Muschietti (Mama) and will be the first of a possible two-part franchise. The first part will be released on 8th September. Be sure to head to your local cinema to make sure we get that second part!
