PENNY DREADFUL CREATOR DIRECTING QUEER HORROR

Posted on: April 14th, 2021

John Logan, the creator of Showtime’s Penny Dreadful, is set to make his directorial debut with Whistler Camp, a new horror movie from Blumhouse Productions.

Described as a “queer empowerment story,” Whistler Camp will be set at a gay conversion camp. Jason Blum and Michael Aguilar will produce, with Ryan Turek overseeing the film for Blumhouse.

The premise has certainly got my attention. Casting is currently away, so we’ll be sure to bring you more news from this project as it’s announced.
