Patrick Wilson has spoken to Digital Spy about what fans can expect from the upcoming second sequel to The Conjuring. Although we don’t know much about what will happen in the film, we do know that it will be about a man who is on trial for murder, but claims he was possessed by a demon.
When speaking to Digital Spy Wilson said:
“[The] Conjuring 3 will be different than anything we’ve seen, which is fun.”
He also said that he had fun dipping his toes in the Annabelle franchise as he and Vera Farmiga have roles in Annabelle 3.
We’ve been told that much of Annabelle 3 will take place in the Warren’s “Haunted Museum” (the room in their house where they store all the cursed objects from their cases). It’s no surprise to see them playing starring, but we do know that they will not be leads.
Annabelle 3 will be released on 3rd July 2019 from director Gary Dauberman. Michael Chaves will direct The Conjuring 3, but it is currently without a release date. Watch this space.
